Support the development of sports infrastructure for youth basketball

ROMGAZ financially supported the project “Development of sports infrastructure for youth basketball”, initiated by Andu Sibiu Sports Club Association. 

The project aimed to develop the sports infrastructure for youth basketball by creating a sports base where 350 children aged between 6 and 18 will train. The aim of the project is to positively influence children by an exemplary moral conduct and a healthy lifestyle, and practicing competitive sports is an effective tool for harmonious development of children and young people.
Andu Sibiu Sports Club Association, although recently established, takes over the activity of Sibiu Junior Basketball Club Association and is currently setting up a selection pyramid, under CSU Sibiu logo. The association registers men's basketball teams in all age categories of the national basketball championship organized by the Romanian Basketball Federation.

It has also been present in the EYBL international tournament. In the last 4 years, CSU Sibiu Juniors project has taken a new dimension, following 3 steps: selection of the right people, internal organization, and performance. The project started with 80 children, and currently it reached a large number, estimated at 350 children.
