ROMGAZ Supported Procurement of NMR Apparatus for the Municipal Hospital of Orșova

ROMGAZ provided financial support for the project “Rehabilitation of Premises, MRI (NMR) Apparatus Installing, Handling and Putting into Operation”. The scope of the project was the rehabilitation and modernization of premises to enable installation of an NMR apparatus by rehabilitation works at the reinforced slab, power supply, adjacent premises to the NMR space, development of technical premises (Control Room, Technical Room, Patient Preparation Room), handling works, installation and putting into operation of the apparatus.

The Municipal Hospital of Orșova is an important supplier of healthcare services for the population of the counties of Mehedinți, Caraș-Severin and Gorj. The hospital serves a population of approx. 40,000 inhabitants, mostly rural.
