ROMGAZ provided financial support for the construction of the first operating theatre within the Town Hospital of Cisnădie. The project “Development of Operating Theatre by building and developing an intervention room and modernizing existing medical premises, with relating functions and endowment, within the Town Hospital of Cisnădie” aimed at creating and developing an operating theatre by building and developing an intervention room and modernizing existing medical premises: AIT, pre-surgery room, and other destinations, to ensure conformity of such with the regulations in force relating to medical flows, hygiene and safety in operation. It was the first operating theatre built at the Town Hospital of Cisnădie.

The town hospital is of general type, comprising the following specialties: internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics gynecology, general surgery, ORL, endocrinology, psychiatry, AIT. Currently, it has 72 beds.
