Promoting Quality Economic Education by Modernizing the Educational Infrastructure

In 2023, ROMGAZ provided financial support for the „Promoting Quality Economic Education by Modernizing the Educational Infrastructure” Project, initiated by the Oeconomica Timisiensis Foundation. 

The scope of the Project was the renovation and modernization of the Dumitru Mareș Amphitheatre by replacement works of wooden floors, electrical installations, paintings, carpentry, etc. The beneficiaries of the projects are the students of the Faculty of Economy and Business Management, as well as the Faculty members or institutional partners. The space hosts, among others, scientific conferences with worldwide participation, professional conferences, “open house” events or other events of interest for the Community of Students.

The Oeconomica Timisiensis Foundation was established in 2010 with the aim of promoting values of culture, science, and civilization by creating a public-private partnership with the involvement of the graduated of the Faculty of Economy and Business Management of Timișoara, personalities in culture, science, and representatives of the social-economic environment from the country and abroad.
The faculty members, researchers and students of the Faculty of Economy and Business Management of Timișoara and of partner Faculties from the country and abroad participate in the activities of the Foundation.

The Foundation has multimedia halls, and medium-sized halls which can accommodate various educational events (conferences, workshops, trainings, anniversary meetings, etc). Spaces made available by the Foundation for performance of activities also include the largest capacity hall, i.e. the Dumitru Mareș Amphitheater.
