Improving the Hospitalization Conditions and Enhancement of the Quality of Medical Act at the County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Sibiu
In 2023, ROMGAZ provided financial support for the project “Improving the Hospitalization Conditions and Enhancement of the Quality of Medical Act by repair of finishes at New Hospital (architecture of floors I -V) at the County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Sibiu”.
The project aimed at improving the medical conditions at the “Spital Nou” (New Hospital) building within the County Emergency Clinical Hospital of Sibiu by large-scale repairs of paintings, plastering, sanitary objects, internal carpentry, installation, etc. The works envisaged the sections of Cardiology, USTACC, CVASIC, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics Gynecology, Diabetes, Neonatology, Analysis laboratories, Pharmacy, Food Block, Laundry, as well as restoration of internal finishes within sections and rooms within the New Hospital building, with the aim of providing best condition for the performance of the medical act.
In the last years, ROMGAZ actively contributed to supporting projects of hospital modernization, such as extension and endowment of the Anesthesiology – Intensive Treatment (AIT) Section for the maintenance in best operational conditions of the NMR apparatus and the angiography equipment at CVASIC, for the enhanced management of difficult intubation cases at the AIT Section by the procurement of a video-laryngoscope, and supplementing the existing non-invasive ventilation apparatus, extension of and modernization of the existing power supply network for the Monitoring and Care of Critical Cardiac Patients Unit (MCCPU). MCCPU monitors and treats patients with sudden onset of the disease, where the immediate development may lead to death, but also patients with chronic cardiovascular diseases, the condition of whom may suddenly worsen and pose an immediate risk of death. ROMGAZ also contributed to the endowment with state-of-the-art equipment for advanced cardiovascular resuscitation and mobile equipment for diagnostic and disease development monitoring.
