Financial Support for “Rehabilitation of Newborn Section” within the Municipal Hospital of Mediaş

In 2023, ROMGAZ provided financial support for the project “Rehabilitation of the Newborn Section” within the Municipal Hospital of Mediaş. The project aimed at rehabilitating the Newborn Department of the hospital and equipping such with medical devices to ensure the best medical intervention and treatment conditions for infant patients, replacing the old and physically worn-out equipment with modern, specific equipment, to ensure performance of the medical act at high quality standards.

The Municipal Hospital of Mediaş is a hospital with 375 hospital beds serving a population of around 120,000 inhabitants of the Northern area of the Sibiu County. The population of the municipality of Mediaş is of approximately 50,000 inhabitants, where more than 50% of the addressability comes from the rural area.
